Well, well, well. Here I am! I’ve been pretty bad at keeping up with this! The last little bit has been busy, busy! Actually, not really. But we worked at a couple fairs and had some bad luck!
I sprained my wrist during our second fair in North Carolina! I was a clumsy idiot and fell right on it. I’m confined to this stupid brace for like 4 more weeks. Its extremely dumb! While Andrew worked his butt off, I sat on my butt and drank coffee in North Carolina I felt like a jerk.
Some one hit our car and ran away -_-. We had to fix the taillight all on our own! (I was really proud of this! Andrew and I (mostly Andrew…ALL Andrew) got the new one and set it all up for only like $35.)
And finally, someone just stole Andrew’s ipod where all our pictures were found! Thank god I uploaded most of them on here first, right? We did lose the South of the Border ones though.
I’m NOT a fan of bad luck! I must have walked under a ladder at some point or something!
On our way we managed to find South of the Border though and had a blast! There was a hat shop that had at least 100 different kind of hats! Here’s Andrew in a bunny hat!
Its the most touristy place I have ever seen but I liked it! It was dorky enough for me!
Now we are in Charleston, South Carolina and guys, I think I am in love. Charleston is amazing! The downtown area has so much to offer on the cobblestone streets: from cute little shops to delicious food. Everyone is on bikes, and it’s honestly just peaceful! The rest of it is filled with stores and malls that I have yet to see all of. My favorite thing though? The Angel Oak Tree in Angel Oak Park. It is thought to be the oldest tree East of the Mississippi and towers above you. It’s so beautiful! You might think i’m a loser for rambling about it but it is so peaceful here. I could sit there and read and read and read. I would be there all day if I could.
We’ve also been to City Market which I highly recommend to anyone coming here. I read so many travel guides for here and they all told me to go there.
It’s fantastic guys. It’s building after building of venders selling everything from artwork to handmade sweetgrass baskets. I felt like it would never end and I loved it! I would have bought every single one of you something from there if I could. Andrew kept me in check though! . This weekend there is a ton going on (Apparently, there usually is!) and i’ll show you what we do afterwards! I am so excited to be here. This is one of those cities that I can picture living in!
1. I learned how much I love the store World Market. I am SO glad I know how to budget money because I would be headed home with tons of random stuff from this lovely place
2. Has anyone seen Gran Torino??
Andrew made me watch it and it made me ball my eyes out -_- It’s an amazing movie but I cried. A lot.
